AU motors are cheap because they are basically unstoppable. Also a very easy swap.

If you want to be different, how about a cleveland 351. They do fit and make real horsepower and all the right noises.

A nissan V8 of some sort was transplanted into an EA I recall. Yes, a Nissan V8.
The car was described as a "sleeper" but from memory it had a crazy bodykit, and the V8 put out "220hp" and did a mid 15. The asking price was something crazy like $15k, although this was back in around 2003 I think. |

If you want to be different and get slapped by everyone on the E-series, put a vn v6 in a EA, LOL
For a real idea, maybe a 4.6lt v8 crate motor similar to a new mustang, it different, should make go power, the problem is if it is anything like the ba boss motor, its really fat

By the way, that cleveland idea is doable if you want to run straight gas. A blown cleveland running gas in your e-series, that'll get you noticed. Hope you've got a good budget. ;)
If it were me I would drop a 351W in. Someone else on here has done it successfully. |
