bugger its at home, will post it up tomorrow, will be from an EL and auto is all I can say at this stage.

My main question is, is it possible to turn smartlock off or not (even if only on some ECU's).

Head Line will read like this very soon.

Thread Heading EB PB.
Quickest and Fastest EB stock unopened, tune only , Might as well added to your sig boys.

Maybe we can lighten it up and race it. Or maybe burn out comp , I know how much Craig loves the burn out comp ( Yeah Right ) so he can drive. LOL.

What support have you got for the EL ECUs? A guy on fordmods took his car to another tuner and the software didn't end up supporting any EL ECUs bar one.

The interesting results will be the modded windsors.....

Dos edit have boost support?

What parameters (generally) can you play with?

Is it an adapter, or full function same as BA?

How do you program (ie what port)...?

Cheers

This has got me worried, so ur saying most EL's are not compatible with this chip? I've been waiting for this chip for ages and am goin to be pretty shattered if my car wont accept it!

Lads,

there are limited processor codes, and i am having some minor?tech difficulties with the chip burner cable ATM, however, looking over the codes availible, i think we should be able to find a processor code to suit and EL.

Some good news - the chips are not VIN locked, so we can chop and change them like a rubiks cube - so any EL hopeful's that come through the door, i will be happy to apply my time to finding a processor code that will work without incurring any loss if they dont.

Should also make re-sale less of a headache than it currently is with the flash tuners.

Ben, the codes i have looked at do not have boost support, but they do have environmental tables - perhaps give me a buzz if you like, and i'll run through all the tables they have on a given code.

anyone with any questions, feel free to call, we are putting in some long hours on this, we want it to work as badly as you guys do.

And lastly, i promise i'll race the EB with and without the chip!!!

A stop watch should be accurate enough... :hihi:

How does the edit actually work mate? ie physically, cable., box etc etc.. compared to flashing with B series....

its more of a chip that plugs in via the j-port and stays plugged, but can hold up to 4 different tunes, tune can be chosen in real time as you drive along if you wish.
