It can be permanently turned off with your flash tuner mate.

Hi Tex,
do i need to take my car with my flash tuner back to the tuner to fix the emission light issue? or can i just plug it in and do it myself? is their an option in the flash tuner to disable it? |

Depending on the flash tuner you have a updated tune file can be emailed to you with the fix. this will only work with the XCAL3 flash tuner and some software you can download. you will have to let your tuner know what codes are being tripped so he can fix that part of the tune..
