Default BA CD Stacker problem

Hi Fadi,

I have an 03 BA Fairmont and my CD stacker has decided it wont play, eject or load any CD's (there are 3 in there at the moment). Is this a common problem, and is there any easy fix for it ?

Thanks !

Hi

You need a repair on on it, you can send it to us directly $336.00 or you can go through a ford dealership.

Regards

Mine too - Daughter loaded her brand new CD into it on the way home from the shops and it registered there was a cd in the unit for all of maybe 5 secs, then claims it is empty. The unit (premium audio I think - 6 disk, in dash, b&w lcd, dual climate), says "noCD" and no manner of pushing the eject or load buttons makes a difference.

Elsewhere on this forum it was suggested disconnecting the battery for 10 mins might reset the unit, but I don't know where to find the security code that may be required after doing such a thing.

Any chance of a better replacement unit for the B-Series?

My stacker is showing signs of problems again and i really don't know if i can be bothered just to have it break again.

Sorry, what you see is what you get. There is only one type of ICC for the B-series.

Cheers

My mate wants to buy a premium sound system unit to upgrade his standard one. I know that the software for the ICC doesn't normally allow for one unit to be swapped for another if it's from another car (since he's looking at buying a used one) but is it possible to get it reset?
