Hi John.
Welcome to Ford Forums Not sure of your mechanical experience ? Here's a Link to Tech Resources .... http://fordforums.com.au/wsmpub/augx/Part%2011-1.html Go to 11-1-5 Be mindful that you 'MAY' need a new thermostat, hoses and a new overflow tank cap, depending on the history of the car. Any questions, feel free to post back. All the best. |

Hi Gutza,
Picking your brains again. Over the last couple of years once or twice a year my car's coolant level would suddenly drop 2 centremetres or so. I would top it up and it would be right for a few more months. However it's done it 3 times in the last month. It happened this morning after driving to shops and back, less than 10kms. I've checked everything and no signs or leakage anywhere or on the ground. It was a hot humid morning. Coolant is clean and no sign of a dirty radiator. Have you any ideas, seems very strange. Engine not overheating, just purring along. Thanks, John |

Thanks all, I have replaced the cap and seems all good now. I actually caught it spewing it's guts through the cap when I pulled up the other day. Just like I was with food poisoning the other day :-)
