Hey all,
Just after some advice on where I can go to get anti theft screws off taken off our number plates? As far as I can tell via the VicPol and RACV websites, workshops that are VACC members have the anti theft screw removal tools? Do I just roll up to one and ask for a hand? Any advice *greatly* appreciated!! |

I used a drill and an old screw driver, drilled a hole tapped in the screw driver with a hammer and twisted

Hi. Go and ask your local "community service police officer" (the one who does neighborhood watch and hands out the one way screws) who has the tool in your area. The tool only works on some screws, hardened head with one small flat side, if your screws dont have a small flat you can try using side-cutters to grip the head of the bolt. Cheers MD

If you don't do the drill idea, is there enough of a head to use a grinder with a fine cutting disc to cut a groove for a screw driver?

blade screwdriver and push like hell..
If not either cut head to fit blade screwdriver or grind the head off..
