Seek legal advice from an expert.

Exactly. Don't listen to all the bush lawyers on the internet who think just just because something sounds right, it is.

Also, in Victoria at least, I don't think that Legal Aid will represent you for traffic matters. They may offer advice, but I don't think they will get funding to actually represent you.

(There you go, a perfect example of what I was just saying! Peopoe who aren;t sure, but throw it out there anyway!)

Mate BA_turbs is right about legal advice, ring a lawyer with traffic law exp and tell him your story it will probaly only cost you a phone call to find out for yourself,Im not from the bush nor am I a lawyer I was speaking from experiance and as someone who has been through your predicament, and as a chef your goose is ready to come out of the oven.

this isn't related but i just thought of it ... when i was in nsw wales i got a bald tyre fine and the copper took pics of it...which i have never seen done before...i asked him why and he told me if i took it to court they wouldn't have any evidence..
thus making me think any time i get done for bald tyres and they don't take a pic they can't do jack about it if i change my tyres then take em to court
is this theory busted or what?

Were you already on the 'im on that 12 month dont lose a friggen point or else thing' ??

If so, how do you expect to get off on good behaviour?

why not accept responsibility for your traffic offense?
you havent even denied that you failed to indicate.
failing to indicate can be dangerous and can also cause accidents.
you know you done wrong so take whats comming to you.
i for one am sick of wasting my taxes on people that break the law then go to court and try and fight it.

Totally agree.....although it's a small offense, it's still an offense....pay the fine and move on

I'm with ^^ up there. Just called a lawyer/anyone who knows their road rules and see what happens. I think being fined for not indicating is a bit harsh though, sounds like another rookie trying to fill his quota before he heads off to maccas ;)

why is it harsh - i can't stand people who don't indicate - its not optional...
