ok V8 guys i need the following info and possible pics:
where does: - Power steering pump sit and what does the bracket for it look like - where does the alternator sit and what does the bracket look like and how many wires do run towards the alternator. also what does the plub for the alternator look like - what does the starter motor look like? - where is the nock sensor positioned? - where is the oil pressure switch/sensor positioned? and may i have a picture of the fan belt assembly of and AU V8? i am in the process of rewiring my car for the V8 ... thanks ppl |

Can't help with all info, but AFAIK, the V8 doesn't have a knock sensor (at least not the series 1 V8). Also the starter motor looks the same as the I6 starter. Alternator is situated on the drivers side, hanging off a bracket that bolts to the front RHS of the motor (really need pics, don't we).
