Hi all ... can someone tell me How much modification to fit AU seats into an ED ?
Ive heard that you may even be able to just unbolt all the foam padding from both seat frames and swap them over for an easier conversion , is this true?? any ideas? Cheers.

Just swap the 'feet' of the seat rails over.

Why. and then no not really at all. ba seats will go straight in with a spacer on the inside rear leg. au seats are in my opinion th worst ford seat and rail setup ever. And theres no swapping the feet over, have a look at the two seat design they're completely different and they will sit way way to low.

Actually, its is just a case of swapping the feat over. Its been done before...even threads on it on fordmods. Its the same way people put EF-EL seats into the EA-ED's (unless you want to weld the floor hump in) So, again, to put Au seats in, use the feat from your ED seats, the are rivited/welded from factory. IF you have a good welder (not a gassless mig lol) weld the ED feet onto the AU rails.

Keep in mind, if they are electronic, you'll need to wire them up.
