Default The ORSM Spotted thread

Takes a non-member to make these thread for you...

Just wanted to say hey, and who was behind me in Geelong today? You turned off onto the Torquay Highway. You were behind me for a bit until I got shafted by traffic.

It was a yellow BA XR6T - ORSMFC I think the plates were.

Thats the one.

EL...get it right : :

Your car looks like it has some poke. And as for the traffic in geelong, that bypass cant come soon enough!

Did you notice my lights? Sorry about staging it in front of you, I got a new cam installed and Im having some random idle issues.

Rear boot thing around number plate looked similar to EF Fairmont. Was it a series one EL? I know the series 2 had a larger plastic section around plate. I was trying to work out why yours had a piece of metal attached that said "do not drill".

My car goes alright, but has a clutch that is falling to bits and I am down on heaps of power at the moment, slips badly, waiting for Textralia to develop their clutch for my car. Cams in I6, I had one in my EL Fairmont Ghia, had quite a few issues, even with unichip, never ran right, good luck!

Oh thats not what I want to hear..LOL

It looks spastic at the back because I have slim lines, I haven't got around to getting a normal one for the back, the slim looks good on the front. Its on the list.

EL's have chrome all the way around, IIRC EF's only have a spear above the plate. This is what you would have seen.

I must say, sorry guys with T's, I am not a fan of bulges on Turbos, look good, but something not right. But for some reason I am a fan of EF/EL/AU's with the bulge, as long as they are packing V8's.........
