Default Fezzy's new shoes

Hey all

Just got home from work with fezzy's new shoes on, very stoked with the ride, same as the 15's.

I love the factory look but in 17"....

I will get some other pics up soon.

Very, very, very nice. I've always been a fan of the Fiesta 16-inchers on the WP, but these look the bomb. I wonder if they'd look decent on a WS _2:

Very nice.
I was thinking of getting new 17" rims (big tax refund came in) but I just got new tyres a few months back and I don't want to waste them.

Thanks all for the comments

In the middle of colour coding the strips and door handles this or next weekend.

Then going to colour the front grills in matt black and also smooth the fog light surrounds.

Cheers

I thought about filling in the mesh around the foggies, the colour coding with a silver bezel.
Are you going to open the lights & paint the grey, black to match the grille?

Don't think I will go that far, but if looks out of sorts I will matt black all the inside bar the chrome rings.

Cheers

sounds pretty much like exactly what i want to do with my fez, but mine is a silver 5 door LX . May I ask how much the wheels were, and where you sourced them from, and how a noob would go about having the strips etc colour coded... (and how much I'd expect to pay)

Colour coding will cost $2-300. I had Ford do it, but you could get it cheaper if you look around.

I am going to try and colour code myself, I have done the mirror caps, boot handle, and washer jets, only problem, my colour wasn't an exact match, so I am having 2 cans done at Autobarn.

Rims where bought on ebay, and tyres from a local Tyres and More dealer for $135 each.

Thanks for the reply. I'd also like to know what tyres you have, and what people recommend as good wheels.

What tyres are you rolling?
The MP3's are a fine looking rim & really suit the WQ. & they're easy to clean.

Tyres are Uniroyal Rainsport 1, so far they have been great, quiet on all surface types.
Very much quieter than the bridgestones turanzas. These are obviously 205/40/17, I have had the speedo recalibrated as well, now shows about 150 rpm lower at 100km/h (sits about 2850 at 100)

Cheers
