Default AU Ute Aftermarket Taillights

I found these on Ebay...

Honest opinions/criticisms welcome. I was thinking about changing them but the standard AUII lights are better IMO.

Personally, I wouldn't put them on my ute.

I had clear tail lights on my 98 AU sedan, I wont be putting clear lights on the XR8, the standard lights look better imo.

If you like the look, put them on. Doesnt matter if other people dont like them, just aslong as you do.

I dont like them personally but the light background goes alot better with the silver ute than a few of the others ive seen. If i had to get them for some reason and i had a silver car id pick those ones over the black and chrome ones. Not a fan though.

Depends on the colour of the car.

They look ok. I have shadow chrome ones (from the aufalcon offer section) on my black au sedan.

i dunno Kenny, its really hard to tell with those whether they'd look good unless you've seen them on a ute like yours!! I know ive seen a similar style on a red ute that looked good...... Maybe get someone to photoshop for you??

Ive seen some euro tail lights on a silver commodore sedan around town and they look sh1t... but these ones on the silver ute look good... very hard to tell.

I wouldn't risk it, but that's me

I dont think there is enough tail light there to warrent a change. I think the sedan altezzea lights are pretty shmick in the shadow chrome version, and ill be buying them as soon as I can get the funds.

Either way will look good.

But hey thats just me....

Wouldn't the BA MkII taillights fit in there as a replacement ... and remove the crappy single reverse light (and the panel as well.)

Would look a lot neater.

I was going to try this mod, but i read somewhere that the the BA rear bar wouldn't fit an AU, is this right?

What about wiring?
