Default Chris goes army.

Chris' reputation looks to have reached some pretty high places. In the latest Street Machine there's an article about the army looking to build another show car. They're looking at an LTD and one option is to go with a Bluepower Kenne Bell 5.4 boss.
Congratulations dude.

Having seen Armygeddon in its home turf @ Latchford, these boys are very very good at what they do - as is Chris. They should be able to come up with an amazing car between them.

Awesome stuff. I know the US Military get cars done up and turn up to car events to try and attract people for recruitment. I hear Chris is also specking up vehicles to race along runways.......

I was lucky enough to come across the LTD on base today, its currently stripped back on a rotisserie. The plans for it sound very good indeed and hopefully I'll come across it going along Mt Martha Street sideways :hihi:

Before we stripped the car, I decided to see how the Ian Splatt Army specials would look?

Daniel,

yeah it is mate, a Starr Performance setup. An LS7 (allegedly), with a 3.3 litre whipple (no, whoops, as Matt from Yella Terra and I found out, a Lysholm blower, that needed carbon dating).

It is soon being replaced (sorry to offend anyone with the repeated use of the L word........) with an LS1 with a Pro-Stroke 383 forged internals, thanks Clint. A custom Crow Hydraulic Roller, thanks Marty and John and Rob. Crankies to do the machine work, Ian and Brett. And Nathan Higgins to port the heads.

Finally Chris and Agro are putting a Kenne Bell 2.8H on the thing, 8.5:1 Static comp and 15psi intercooled.......... :evil3: Should do the trick nicely.

Ben

however;

A 532 Cubic Inch mountain of metal dedicated to memory of Henry Ford is even enough to keep the blond, skinny one happy.

Don't hate me 'cos I'm going old school. Embrace the torque, it's good for the soul.
