Hello all,
the top rubber moulding on my Falcon windscreen is split in a number of places so I am going to replace it, anyone done this recently and know of the part cost? cheers Bill.

Have to replace front window I was told I'm about to do mine to but through insurance

I used to replace windscreens on cars. There is two ways you can do it. You can replace the windscreen and the mould will be put on the windscreen,before the windscreen is fitted to the car. Any windscreen shop should be able to replace just the mould,without taking the glass off (they might tell you all kind of stories, glass might break etc)I did it plenty of times (it's pretty fiddle,but doable).

Rubber strip is about $10.
A "U" shaped bit of rubber, it slips over the top edge, inner & outer side of the glass. |

Go get your once a year free windscreen covered on your insurance policy. Assuming of coarse, you have insurance on it.
