Hi. Anyone know if you hold a car overseas for more than 12 months then bring it back to Oz, whether you still have to pay the Luxury Car Tax?

Basically - no.
There are a wide range of exemptions (including a couple of weird ones) but private imports that exceed the LCT threshold will attract it. The list of exceptions is here Cheers Russ
