Anyone going to WSID tomorrow night????

Not sure whether to spectate or try and better my times on the SP3000's.

When are you getting some good tyres Chris and show its true potential.
Would love to go but have comitments as you know. the mexcian will be up here very soon that will be my next run then a full assult at the V8 owners day on 4th sept. Also might have some more mods by then to. :

heaters on, got some nice reds in the lineup......

sat night should be a great get together, especially if wademan grew some balls and come down.......

Well, tonight was my first time out in my T. Im very very happy with it, for a stock T.
Not too bad at all for a 5speed manual.

First run:
14.261 @ 95.92Mph 2.221 60ft
14.352 @ 97.60Mph 2.354 60ft
14.663 @ 95.51Mph 2.486 60ft
14.198 @ 98.14Mph 2.295 60ft
14.021 @ 98.71Mph 2.183 60ft

That is fantastic. An edit will guarantee a 13.0 with 2.2 60 street tyres.(and that my friends is worst case, more like 12.8ish, 12.4-5 with good tyres and only 10lbs.......)

Good work mate, your car lookes good too!
Unfortunatly i couldn't better my pb just equalled it 13.7 and 13.8 @ 102.6 were all I could manage with wheels spin off the line. time for some good rubber!
Great night though 5runs by 8.30. then home early. :eclipsee_


I think one of your tunes is up next and a diff Chris with tyres!

The clutch slipped on every launch. Sometimes more than others. I did try the launch on the handbrake, load up the driveline, but once the handbrake was down, the clutch was way too hot and just slipped. So i did it the normal way and that worked better.

Mate would of love to Rich, been working 60-70hrs a week lately a bit sleep deprived.

I was looking on the WSID website and they said it was one
the best nights this year (weather/running).

I dont think i'll go back for a few months yet. I hate thrashing the car. 7 runs at WSID is more stress full for the car than a 6 hour track day at Wakefield Park.
