Default RE: MD Titanium LED Headlight Recall?

Hi All,

Just a quick heads up...

I had my MD Titanium at Ford last week with some little niggles and it appears that they also addressed the following Outstanding Field Service Actions - 16S21.

This relates to the LED Headlights on the MD Titaniums.

Have a look on FordEtis and see if your vehicle has the Oustanding Field Service Action - 16S21. If it does, print the page and book it in at Ford to be rectified.

FordEtis; https://www.etis.ford.com/

Refer the following; https://www.dft.gov.uk/vosa/apps/rec...k&tx=0.2795613

And on Talk Ford; http://www.talkford.com/community/to.../#entry2614314

On FordEtis my VIN was displaying 16S21, then a few days later it was no longer on their.

I hope this helps...

My build date of 7 March, 2016 is outside the campaign.
Lucky I waited 7 months for delivery...

Has anyone else had this done to their Titaniums yet? You end up getting a "recall" sticker placed near your drivers door "striker".

Folks just had theirs in today for the recall but the vin wasn't on the affected list above, apparently they performed that they had to and updated Sync2 but haven't checked the system myself. 19.7K kms on it so far.

Could you please check my car for any work required as the FordEtis site has the following Outstanding Field Service Action which was listed before the 15,000 Km service completed on 13 December and has not changed since the service was completed.

16B17 - HEADLAMP "TUNNEL MODE" INCORRECTLY DETECTED

VIN: WF0EXXWPCEFU18850

As I have a Trend it is not effected by the recall for the LED headlights.
