Default **119.94 mph NA BOSS**

Our little NA project took a little turn at Heathcote on the weekend at the All performance Challenge, the Bluepower Black ute still a little off the pace in the 60 foot, with a best of 1.76. Track and tyres being okay, but the trans starting to feel the heat of over 200 passes in the 10's and 11's.

We managed to run 119mph twice, with an 11.80 on a 1.76 and a 1.80 sixty.

This makes the Bluepower NA Boss config the fastest NA deal in the country.

Trans will come out this week with the spare going in, and we'll try our new bolt on mod this weekend, see if we can beat the magic 120mph mark.

Regards

Chris

Well a good result that's for sure, standing on the startline the car was appearing to be leaving a little bit lazy, when we got the timeslips and saw 119.94 - that can't be right must be the famous "hot clocks' but we did it again in the other lane about 2 runs later. One of the runs i was standing right at the finish line to get a different angle of the whole process and let me tell ya with the open exhaust that thing was certainly screaming coming past me........nice. All this in 31-32 degree heat, i would like to see this deal at calder on a cold friday night when the racetrack is in good nick when most cars set records....

Lets get the auto freshened and go for ET records now. out: out:

A big well done dude :

You seem to find a little more every day, knowing all the hours you put into R&D you are the best.
It’s great to see the good results, and you must be proud flying the Blue Power flag out in front.

Again well done mate.

Its the "ol girl" alright, however, we have changed to a 290 engine for our NA program, as the crate motor we are designing will centre more closely to a 290 than 260.

Im pleased to make comment that using this setup has already taught us a valuable lesson with engine config, and due to our playing with this particular setup, has helped us to nail a configuration for one of our engine clients already, so i feel happy that our in house and racing R and D is directly benefiting clients.

Hi Ben, hows things??

These V8's are just awesome - to run nearly 120mph less the blower is fantastic, but as usual i haven't leaned on the tune so im confident of the car running into the mid 11's, then we can eval our new cyl head port design.

The turbo record has been around for eons, talking to Rob from HPF a few weeks ago at heathcote it would appear that they have a few cars ready to rock on the turbo scene - as for ourselves, we are saving our pennies for our new Boss blown project - hopefully hitting the track in late Jan. till then, its NA.

I think it will be a while before a Boss will bowl over the T, but we are slowly narrowing the gap lol

Chris

I know that you like to run your tunes nice and safe Chris. But what other things to the tune can be done when you do start to "Lean" on a tune? I will be bringing my car down soon for a freshen-up. Next week its off to A.C.E for a set off Oil Pump Gears, then we're ready to rock.
