Default True kw measurements

I have heard that Ford measures their kw figures without various ancillaries attached and Holden measures theirs with all compliance required ancillaries operating, hence a discrepancy of up to 20 kw in "real" power figures.
The ball is in your court........even though you have been ACED!!!!!

Wow...great comeback, but i was looking something more constructive.
Trying to have some fun here guys.
In reality the Ford Figures are "pumped" and I was just looking for a reason / explanation.
I believe nearly ALL other manufacturers follow the same guidelines for quoting power figures (similar to Australian Standardsf) except for Ford Australia......why?

Mental deficiency used to be finely classified using the following technical terms:

IQ Range Classification
70-80 Borderline deficiency
50-69 Moron
20-49 Imbecile
below 20 Idiot

These are now largely obsolete and mental deficiency is now generally called mental retardation. The following is the currently used classification of retardation:

IQ Range Classification
50-69 Mild
35-49 Moderate
20-34 Severe
below 20 Profound

No He has a point.

He has proven that most holden owners dont try and start crap.

And he has also demonstrated that like ford drivers, there is always a minority who need to satisfy some inadequacy by making stupid claims.

Well done ACE.

Yeah I have heard that DIN mentioned before but they all have plenty enough power anyways so who cares?

DIN=Deutsches Institut für Normung or some **** like that. Basically a standard put in fancy terms.

Actually american engines are measured in imperial killawhats while australian engines are measured in metric kilowatts and you have to take into account the doppler effect when an american engine is placed in an australian car.

People with only one eye tend to have difficulty perceiving reality instead of fantasy.
Blue shift creates an illusion that the power always appears to be lesser.
Red shift creates an illusion that the power always appears to greater.

This illusion is exacerbated by distance. The further your views are from reality the stronger the illusion.......
