I am about to pull the motor out of my mk 2 rs 2000 and freshen up the engine bay . Can someone tell me what color the engine was originally Thanks

Good question. It looks like a variety of colours were used over the years but the 25 homologation cars that came here all looked to have had the blue painted block rather than the red or black in other markets.
We can probably track down a paint code for it somewhere. Cheers Russ
