The wife has been at work all day and just wants to chill at home, nice and cool inside, still stinking hot and muggy out side (10. 48 PM)

Brisbane is absolutely dead, everyone I have spoken to is having a quiet night in.

Not even worth going out, so we just made some Beer-garitas!

I’m enjoying a very quiet night at home, as long as the kids don’t wake up.

Too quiet for my liking. Just went to a mates house and had a few beers. Was in bed by 230am. Really soft. No one was doing anything this year :(

First time I haven't had a massive hangover in years :

I think New Years Eve is the biggest waste of time, if you go out you can never get a taxi, all the pubs, clubs and hotels want top dollar. And really everytime I drink I get bored and go home at 11. Its a whole lot of standing around to count backwards from 10.

I'm just saying that because I got called into work of course.

I never do a lot on NYE since I think it's an overrated occasion.

I had three offers. One pi$$up, one normal party and one water fight BBQ. Went for the BBQ since that was my first offer, and the hosts are good friends. Had a good time.

Cheers

Well I was rostered on until 12, but I just finnished as quick as I could, and left work at 11:20, grabbed a few things from the servo, and was home for the count down.

I then proceeded to have probably a little too much to drink, and went to bed at around 4am.

I currently feel like death.

Damn NYE.

Happy New Year everyone...

I went out at Mooloolaba and got myself seriously drunk, which is what my aim was.

It rained heaps so the street party was cancelled but was still a good night.

I had a ball, the wife & I headed in to Southbank and lobbed in at the Plough Inn. Got a table no probs, great view of the fireworks and got just a little bit messy.

Got home at about 3:30am, up at 6:15am because the outlaws were heading home this morning then off to bed at 9:30am for a little snooze through til 12pm. Oddly enough feel pretty good ;)

Top night!!
