Unfortunately a Dodge has won this years NHRA Championship Battle with "The King" John Force in his Ford Mustang losing in the second round today in Pomona California. It's the first time anything other than a FORD since 1996 has won the Funny Car Championship. It all makes for an excellent season next year.
Go get em Force and co. :voldar02: :voldar02: :voldar02: Congratulations to Gary Scelzi though, he is a great guy. |

Yep, Scelzi's fibreglass body with a Dodge sticker on the front beat Force's fibreglass body with a Ford sticker on the front. I didn't see any Mustangs or Stratus' or chrysler engines for that matter.
I'm glad Scelzi won, his main sponsor, Oakley, has been tipping heaps of cash into drag racing for ages now. |
