So after not owning a Falcon for 5 or so years im eyeing off an immaculate XR650 with 40,000kms on it. Literally looks brand new. It wouldn't be a daily driver so the kms would be kept low.
Whilst definitely not being an appreciating classic does anyone think these may be more sort after in the future?. |

I think the XR50 Turbo is a little under appreciated.
A mint one with a manual gearbox would be a great car to have stashed in the garage as a weekender. The turbo was fully loaded from the factory with pretty much every option ticked from what was available at the time (not sure about a LSD though). I had an NA XR50 and it was a great car, would've loved a turbo but couldn't stretch that far. Classic, maybe not. But definitely desirable (for me anyway).

I can't see either the NA or turbo 50's appreciating or being sought after in the future.
Equipment wise they're in between the XR6 and G6E with no extra desirable features or performance. They're a nice car, buy one and use it as such.
