Default My ute is no longer.....

As some of you are aware - my Ute has moved on to a new owner.

Current transport is now as shown.....

Specs for your info:

The 3.2-litre V6 produces 177kW of power at 6250rpm and 320Nm of torque from a low 2800rpm.

Weighing in at 1477kg, it's enough to catapult the car from 0-100km/h in 6.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 247km/h.

feel free to flame.....(it's the only chance you'll get.)

I actually liked the R32's when they first came out... now personally i feel the styling has dated, and still is... quickly...

Are you sure you would have the room to bring a fire extinguisher along in the VW? Might need a trailer.

Lol, it does look like a chicks car, I'm a chick and I wouldn't own it... i'd be embarassed to drive it.

Each to their own though I suppose, as long as you're happy with it and can handle the jokes. Heh

Bit rough ... these things come from Europe where the average Joe (or Josephine) isn't going to own a two-ton, V8 sedan. If the fuel costs don't get you, trying to squeeze a Falcon down a narrow cobblestone laneway will. They are the affordable performance cars of their locale ..

.. oh .. and at least "stuff" doesn't start falling off them as soon as you drive them out the showroom ..

I'd have a new Golf GTi as a fun daily driver .. hell I'd even take a Polo GTi .. but I'd still need a V8 "something" for towing the horsefloat

This proves how little you know. :

How many people can say that they have owned a R32? Not that many, utes will be around forever and are as common as dog dung.

Absolute ripper of a car though, must suprise the hell out of some people. Its a bit of a sleeper!

See it at http://www.carpi.ch/net/ , the video on track is awesome.

I had assumed he just threatened it to stand upright. But obviously the power of mousse prevails.

Nice looking car, like the Veedubs. What sort of currency is one of those on road? Would love to know how they compare to XR5 for price.

The sound of an R32 is hard to beat. The worst bit about driving one would have to be the fact that the exhaust doesn't sound nearly as good as if you were a pedestrian.

Let your mates take it for a gentle drive-by every now and then.
It will probably be the best aural you'll get.

Excellent I'm a big fan of the VW Golf - especially the last generation R32s that you're lucky enough to be driving.

Oh, and you failed to mention; they're AWD aren't they?? It'd certainly be a blast around the twisties in Melbourne. :eclipsee_
