Hi there,
Wondering if anyone can give me any advice on this car, my friends mum has a 91 Ford tx5 telstar ghia 2.5l v6 (early GE mazda 626) and the power steering is very heavy when turning whilst driving slow (ie parking, turning into a driveway etc.) the belt its fine and tight it has fluid & theres no leaks or sounds coming from the pump or anywhere!?!?? would I be right in saying the pump has died? also has anyone got any experience with these motors with fitting and removing the powersteering pump? the pump looks to be in a tight spot under the back of the motor looks to be a hard job getting it off and on again and in and out, id presume it would be easier to get to from underneath.. which would be the easiest way? cheers tim |
