That looks bloody good and like all recent 'bloody good' releases it's not for Aus.
Poor Aus.

If its built in RHD then maybe it will eventually get here I hope. If they could try with the overpriced Endura then I still think this has a chance.
It looks like a bloody impressive package IF PRICED RIGHT! |

When asked about it, the Ford spokesperson said "we have no news to share about the Evos".
Journo runs with the story and changes that to "won't come here". Nowhere did the Ford spokesperson say "it won't come here". I'm getting over them doing that. They did the same thing with the Puma. Not to say it will come here, just that they are taking a statement and twisting it to be something it's not. It's disingenuous. |

Evos is technically a BEV concept but the expectation is that it will be sold as hybrid and PHEV. It’s pretty disappointing that Ford seems to have retreated to LHD in so many new products I hope that they start realising there’s still valuable niche vehicles that could be done. |

I normally don't like cars with this body style, but I really like this.

Here’s another article on the EVOS, confirming that it is a China-only model.
It contains links to other interesting articles about a new Ford Escort https://media.ford.com/content/fordm..._Features.html and a “reborn” Modeo for Europe. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/n...lic-first-time Edit: the Escort is old news from 2018
