Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!
Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway. Top Holden of the Week Kicking of this weeks wrap up is this beautiful holden ute, keeping its original styling with a hint of modern tech hiding behind the grille. Running a best time of 10.95 @ 122.1 MPH. Top Ford of the Week This week’s top ford goes to this mental XR6 turbo Ute. With drag slicks all round it was no surprise when the black beauty crossed the line for a 10.74 @ 134.36 MPH. Top Japanese of the Week There is lots of murmurs about new Japanese supercars floating around the internet at the moment, but for now the mighty Godzilla remains the pinnacle of Japanese performance, running down the quarter mile for a time of 11.26 @ 134.3 MPH. Top Rotary of the Week This week’s top rotor was claimed by this tidy RX7. With aggressive styling in the form of over fenders and a big old wing, this beauty showed it was more than capable with a best pass of 12.68 @ 109.67 MPH. Top European of the Week The Germans are making themselves comfortable in the top euro seat lately, this BMW coupe proving its posterior worthy of that seat with an impressive time of 11.40 @ 137.11 MPH. Commentators Pick of the Week Commentator’s pick of the week goes to this Holden HQ Ute, wearing its farm style patina with pride and blowing us away with its first pass of the night; crossing the line for a 9.87 @ 138.26 MPH. Race 4 Real is on every Wednesday night at Sydney Dragway, weather permitting. Keep it safe, legal and off the streets! Gates open at 4:30PM and racing starts at 6:00PM. Check our website for T&C’s and entry information. Next Race4Real is this Wednesday November 4th 2015. See you there!
