hi
Water ingress can fry electronics today and in the future . The future problems can be caused by moisture or developed corrosion over time . If your unlucky modules that are wired to the wet unit may fail in the future also . The wiring because companies use the smallest possible size can fail as moisture wicks itself up the cable from connector and corrodes wires internally . The signal or power flowing thru can be intermittent . Obviously the above issues can be difficult to diagnose . In a simpler car all the dash and engine loom is removed dried and lubed . All ECU are removed and dried . About 7 --10 days work . No guarantee . |

how and where? Ranger is rated to 800mm deep wading so all the critical electrical joints should be above that.
