Default Transformer stickers/badges

I've seen a lot of cars round with what seem to be transformer stickers or badges can anyone shed some light on why?

I've always wanted to go up to someone with a transformer badge and say "So what does it transform in to when it isn't a piece of *****?"

But figure I'll get my head belted in

I've seen two instances where people have got the badges tattooed broadly across both wrists. The first case was years ago well before the movies.

The only truly appropriate one I ever saw was on an art union prize draw car out at Emerald in the shopping center...it was a brand new and genuine Chevrolet "Transformers Edition" Camaro just like Bumblebee...bright yellow, black stripes, metal Transformer badges, the logo also embroidered here and there inside and also on top of the gearknob...awesome car!!

This is the special editions webpage (some great models there)...
http://www.chevrolet.com/pages/open/...ial-edition.do

and this is the link to the Transformers edition model...

If you have seen those stickers around bendigo area, they are for a young girl who passed away last year and her number plates were "TTEEZN"
