Default Ford Website Updated!!

Hey everyone,

Just came across the updated www.ford.com.au while looking for pics of the race, there's a hillarious video up there! Whilst they probably won't have a photo of the Skaifemobile on a flatbed (what I really want for my desktop : ) hopefully they'll have some more pics of Lowndesy or something to help us celebrate with our Holden mates!!!!!

(It loads up from the Ford homepage, just click on the image)

Damm I hope they are going to put that on the TV ads, what would be even better would be to do a cartoon of the Holden blimp and a pin bursting the bubble.

The Lion clip on the ford site is pretty cool.

Let's hope they try and capitalise on the win some more.

Well it starts off with a door, with a Ford logo on it and theres sounds of whipping, then a Holden Lion, comes out of the room, holding it's a*** and a message comes up and says something about Ford caining the opposition.

True, but Fords 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th is fairly dominant. I hope Ford puts this on TV but I don't think they will.

funny video. This was also on news.com.au where I first saw it.

Anyone seen the bellow ad yet? It was mentioned in the paper on Friday:

Quote:
FORD has turned all Euro with its recently released BF Mark II Falcon. It has hinged much of its marketing thrust on the Falcon, Australia's longest running nameplate after a 47-year run, as having a European flavour. Ford has even called an optional sports pack which comes with a $250 cost at launch but has a recommended retail of $3000 a ``Euro sports package''. Everything from its chic TV commercial to the branding power of the BF Mark II claims it as a ``very European drive''.

It's an interesting strategy formulated for a very Australian car. The TVC was filmed around the Glass House Mountains and in Sydney but it has a European feel with funky music from an unknown artist played in reverse making it sound northern European.

When challenged why Ford has stumped for the Euro theme, Gorman elected to have a cheeky shot at Holden.

``Well we actually thought that Holden was Korean,'' Gorman said in reference to Holden's Daewoo-sourced Viva and Barina small cars.
