One in black with a 6.2 Please...

I love my Fords but this is going to be very tempting in a few years time.

Not 100% Sold on the inside though...

That's my biggest fear. If they price the basic car at HSV-friendly prices, then they are really shooting themselves in the foot with this car.

There is no good reason to sell Camaro that high on this soil. Different tastes for different buyers is my belief... Let the buyer decide what they prefer.

I'd love to see Camaros and Mustangs in abundance on our roads.

I don't like the inside much (haven't found any American interiors that i like) but i'd put up with it.

First thing i'd do is replace the chevy badges with holden ones. Just to be different...

EVIL.
The headlights look like the look I got from my daughter tonight because I took her lap top off her because she hasn't cleaned her room after 2 days of nagging.

Ford USA will have to pull something out of their backsides when this thing hits the roads in the states. The mustang interior just doesn.t cut it IMO compared to the Camaro.

Love the look but I'd say it's going to be astronomically priced if it actually made our shores.

Nice link MethodX, i did have some interior pics but i can't seem to find them. The gauge layout looks similar to a 60's Galaxie IIRC.

Well done again MethodX, you are quick.

Ford US needs to build this car, and export it big time.

Cheers, Adam.

I think the new Camaro will be a winner. There will be a 225kw V6 and a 320KW LS3 V8 to kick off with.

The handbrake is on the right hand side, that might be a sign...

Its not very modern interior for what they call a 2010 car, everything is low on the dash, 'how long will it take to read torque/oil temp readings.

$80k for that is in GT-P/GTS range, not exactly over priced. I'd pay 80k for one.

You're easily pleased. I know I wouldn't be if the yanks are paying $35K for the V8.

They also pay ALOT less then what we do for new and second hand exotics like Porsche, BMW and Ferrari. It's not like the camaro will be the only car thats over priced here, in relation to the US.

They had a small segment on the Camaro on Ch10 news, and it won't be sold in Australia according to them, thats what Holden said.

Chevrolet Camaro on sale in Australia

http://www.caradvice.com.au/38953/ch...-in-australia/

Quote:
Chevrolet Camaro on sale in Australia

Chevrolet Camaro fans need not be disappointed at GM’s decision to not import the iconic sports coupe into Australia, as the car will be available for sale here from around October.

Queensland based company Performax International will be the first importer and right-hand drive converter for the hero car in Australia.

CarAdvice paid a visit to the Performax workshop last week and spotted the transformers car in the midst of its conversion.

Performax boss Nick Vandenberg says the converted, ADR approved and road registrable Camaro will go on sale from around $130-150,000. Numerous orders have already been placed so if you’re interested, best to act now.

More news on the Camaro will be available soon as CarAdvice will be attending the Performax track day.

Additionally, Alborz Fallah has spent the past three days behind the wheel of a Shelby 500GT Mustang. Expect a review on that soon.
