I have a woodgrain insert momo wheel but the horn pad doesn't seem to fit flush. Is the Fairmont and XR series steering wheel horn pads the same size?
I think my lock actuator is stuffed. If I use the pad to lock the doors it just cycles (locks and unlocks and immobiliser beeps). I have to use the key to lock the doors. Does it sound like the actuator?

Can' t help with the steering wheel, but my doors were doing the same thing when the worm gear broke on the actuator.
Not an expensive fix if it is - I got on for about $20 on ebay. Just dont lose the spring when you open up the actuator or have a torch and magnet ready!. Mine fell under the car and it took about 20mins of swearing to find it. |
