thats a sad sight indeed. The wheels look the goods too, aslong as they weren't chromies.

I was reading the other day that a VERY high percentage of burnt out cars are done by the owners for insurance purposes, as they belive that fingerprints etc cant be traced off them. *Shrugs*

Wheels hard to sell or take to long to remove, they probably got scared.
The car would be burned out to distroy finger prints.

Mate sorry for ya lost at least ya insurance will help ya back!

its a shame really cause they are low life thieving scums and your right they do burn the cars cause of finger prints but not only that but because DNA is taken by crims if they have a conviction that could carry a max term of X amount of years (i think its 15yrs) and as most crimes hold that amount of time in high court etc then if they are a convicted criminal DNA could track em down years later or even sooner if they have been placed on the dna database

what gets me is that thieves burn the cars to hide evidence of their identity but if they are smart enough to steal it then they'd also know that if they wiped over where they touched or wore gloves they wouldnt need to torch the car.

a beanie
gloves could cover their tracks yet they torch someones pride and joy its just a low act, even if they wiped over where they touched with oil it covers their tracks, just stupid car thieves, grrrr the P155 me off...

Fuggen Pricks. This was obviosouly done by the owner or by some drunken twits out of thier mind because i highly doubt many people would have left those wheels or the decent sound system with it.

Poor bloody Monty.

why would they leave the rims on it??
pretty easy to figure out if you really think about it.
lets say you flog a car with rims that arent too common like 20s. what are you gonna do with them so you dont stand out like dogs balls?
or if you steal a car how are you gonna nick-off with the rims if you dont have another car waiting?

It ****es me off to see this happens; steeling cars is the lowest act anyone can do pretty much.

My family has had some nice cars stolen, the worst was probably my cousins XF '87 Panelvan 3sp Auto, Lowered, 12 Slot Mags, 100, 000 Klms - beautiful car, stolen and never recovered, at least it was insured.

Anyhow to even up the number, ill chalk up one Holden torched and stripped by low life thieves. I saw this VN/VP commodore on a back road near my house the other week. Excuse the crummy quality of the photo.

Nah it was up at Morisett must be a different one. Not really suprising though VN commo's and XF Falc are hot property with thieves.

I still suprised that that fairlane was nicked, I thought they had a decent alarm.
