This question comes from a cave-dweller in terms of such services.
What is the current go-to for paid, authorised downloads of music? Where the track is not encrypted, where you can copy it to an SD card or old phone used as storage, where access does not expire after a time? Equally important, being a site that does not invade privacy à la Faceache. |

I’m not quite sure yet how much stuff I’m looking for. It’s mainly to amuse others over longer drives without repetition. Probably less than 40 hours total playing time.
Have read about freeware and subscription programs that convert Apple’s format into MP3, but some of the guff might be out of date or the sites/apps too dodgy. Didn’t really want to go the pirate route, I regard artists as tradespeople too - and we (trades) complain if someone rips us off. How easy is it to rip MP3s off Spotify? |

I usually use Mp3va. Not free but not expensive.

I would not recommend a website if I thought it had potential or malicious threats to peoples pc's or other media devices. if you think it is unsafe then ignore my link. Cheers |

Potentially Unwanted Content Found is just a warning about the Spice Girls music you may find on there. |
