G'day all, I recently converted my AU2 XR8 ute to a manual, I notice now that the thermo fans run all the time. I guess this is because the temperature sensor from the auto is not present and is now sensed as an open CCT, causing the fans to run continuosly. My question is, is the sensor for temp in the auto a switch or a thermistor? if its a switch I should be able to short the pins in the plug, if its a thermistor I will have to find out what resistance would represent a cool transmission and apply that to the pins.
Does anyone have a link to the workshop manual, or something similar, for the auto? And yes, I'm loving the manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Alex
