Hey,
I need help to serttle an argument about what pharrell says in this film clip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyDUC1LUXSU At 21-22 seconds into this clip, he says something which sounds very much like "Hey gargamel!" Now i have watched this hundreds of times, including the one on vevo which has the topless women in it and I CANNOT FIND any smurfs, a cat called azreal or anything other reference to the smurfs. I have also checked all the lyrics i can find and it is not mentioned in it. Pharrell wont return my calls, so can anyone else help me? Thanks

I was thinking it was sponsored by the RSPCA due to the number of puppies that werent harmed in the making of said video...

The song is generic pop crap. The "other" film clip is the real highlight.

I think you’re onto something…
“Blurred Lines”, the album, was released 30 July, 2013… “The Smurfs 2” was released 31 July, 2013… It is my belief that Pharrell placed an Easter egg in “Blurred Lines” (“hey, Gargamel!”) for the Smurfs. He did, if you recall, make “Happy” for the Minions just the next year. It’s for the Smurfs. |
