how do i get a screenshot off my pc , im using xp

press alt & print scrn at the same time

press the printscreen button located next to scroll lock, then goto a program such as paint and then press paste.

Pressing PrintScreen by itself copies the entire screen to the clipboard, whereas pressing Alt-PrintScreen copies just the active window to the clipboard.

Just depends on what you want to do...

Yep, but thats a window shot, not screenshot. Apples are a bastard, its like 4 buttons if i remember. apple shift ctrl + 4 or something ridiculous.

Why? XP does italready with the Priint Screen button for a screen shot, and Alt + Print Screen for a screen grab of the current (active) window.

Press "Print Screen SysRq" on your keyboard and go into MS Paint and press Ctrl+V then save as a .jpg
