Car park for several thousand cars of which you must pay, or a train station that goes to the olympic park.

a train from rooty hill to lidcombe station and then change at lidcombe for olympic pk station( departs sprint platform at lidcombe station, plenty of signs & station staff to help if u need it)believe me i work as a train guard in sydney and it would be the best & direct way to go! rooty hill station is in walking distance of the RSL. reverse for return trip to RSL.
enjoy the night :
p.s. carparking needs to be booked in advance thru sydney olympic pk carparking if you still wish to drive
cheers

I went last night in Brisbane. Unreal concert. Fergie was a suprise quite good. A night with her and I'm sure I could make big girls cry.

After seeing how her dancers can move and their black I would probably disappoint her and make her cry. But I know i would have a good time trying.

Can't offer any advice on transport in Sydney, but the concert here in Brisbane last night was fantastic! I was dubious about Fergie supporting as well, but as it turns out I quite enjoyed her too.

I just can't believe how old they all look, but Andy Summers does look good for a 65yo.

Sting has also grown a beard!

I didn't think I was going to enjoy Fergie but I was pleasantly surprised, she belted out some pretty good covers!

especially living out our way.

I know what it is like from Rooty Hill ... and it's not too bad to Lidcombe ... but having to get out to Richmond station would be a drag.

Wish i could make it to see them ... I actually saw Sting at the Capitol Theatre when he was out here last doing his solo gig ... and it was awesome.

He looks weird/creepy now with a beard though.

Trains in sydney are the biggest joke. Then again, I have no experience with the roads outside or just south of the CBD (which were also a joke).

I'd imagine train would be cheaper, it just may be a bit of a pain.

Just drive, straight down the M4, you'll be there in no time.

You might get stuck in a little bit of traffic on the way out but
it is better than being stuck on an all stations train full of idiots.

Trust me I'm a train driver.

Taken from Wikipedia...

"In 2005, Ferguson inadvertently urinated on stage during a performance at San Diego's Street Scene festival. Ferguson later commented on the incident: "I had a few drinks before the show, but I didn't think to go to the bathroom before we went onstage. We were jumping around...and my bladder just started.""

Any one that went last night will agree it was F_ _ _en awsum

You will excuse me for staying at the pub while furgy was on we were in C4 (o nthe feild it was unbeleivable and I noramly dont like stadium venues as the sound is usualy teribal but they had it bang on last night,

my only beef was 2 mates of mine were tight ar5es and just grabed tickets off a scalper out the front 2 songs in $50 for the pair and we saw them getting usred down the to 8 rows in fornt of us, but I guess there risk paid off
