Default Engine mount

Hi, recently I sent my ford cougar year2000, auto for servicing as I had a
Power steering leak problem, my local mechanic told me that I needed to change one of my engine mounts and he doesn't know what the cost would be and it should cost up to a 1000.

I live in Melbourne, any advise would help.

Try a few of these. Usually frieght for these would be 20 to 30$ or there abouts.

Thanks, do you have any idea to what the labour costs might be?

I'm guessing but would think most front wheel drive motor mounts could be changed in an hour or two?? Someone else on here might know.

Sorry but I am in Sydney......if your mechanic is quoting over $1000.00.....tell him "he is dreaming" and go somewhere else.
