Default Perth internet speed

What is your internet speed in perth,list your suburb and download/upload speed.
Mine-gosnells
download-8.26mb
upload-.82
A week ago we had super slow internet which was about 1.2 upload speed,got fixed and now im curious what speed others have in perth.

I should have said 1.2 download speed before we got it fixed,apparently the line was under water....i dont believe that for a second!
It had been like that for months,wayyy before any rain started.
We are with telstra.

I'm Southern River/Gosnells too, Stinky but we're 6km from the exchange.

Telstra BigPond and just ran a Speedtest- 6.4 down, 0.6 up, 21ms ping

And $89.95 a month for 200gb a month

Thats it,you pay telstra pretty decent money for the best they have and they just give you excuses sometimes,be very vague about what their minimum speed should be etc
My missus got on the blower and told them to pull their finger out and they did,as soon as my speed drops off shes gonna jump on telstra again lol

Paying $89 a month for 500gb data and voip phone.

When it comes to connection speeds,there isn't much your ISP can do about it. Its all based on your cable distance from the exchange you're linked to. The close you are the faster it'll be. Unfortunately adsl customers lose out big time because of the archaic infrastructure and our sub average government.
I wouldn't go near Telstra for anything ever. Extortionate prices for something competitive ISPs can provide equally if not better at a lower cost.
Telstra doesn't have its grip on the NBN infrastructure like it does the copper network, and pricing is extremely reasonable for the quality of services available.
