Thanx mate, still cant get over it, I also met up with the 2 guys that ran the red VZ ss and the Black VZ ss and maccas 30mins ago near mine, good blokes he also achieved his best doing a 13.63 pass, exhuast plus extractors helped.....

But none the less it was a great night and look forward to doing it again, maybe with a new clutch next time Hope the pics turn up some great shots of our cars and the burnouts :

And finally, great thanx go to "useless" for starting the thread and getting some guys to turn up :hihi:

It was his first time guys.Very good effort for a first time. He had said to me he pumped the tyres at the garage station and so I checked his pressures with my pro air gauge. 50psi in the backs!!! So I let them down to 30 psi.By the end of the night he had adjusted his own pressures down more and more. For a virgin racer well done!!

The 1/4 mile is not, as most beleive, 400 mtrs it as approx 402 mtrs, so comparing a 1/4 time to 400 mtrs can be a little misleading slightly better times would show for 400 mtrs.:

Well done on the times

Very interesting mate , i didnt know that!

So would it be fair to say the manual and Auto BA XR6t are about the same in terms of performance times?

Not sure of the times difference between auto and manual, but the time would only be very very marginal difference between the 2 measurments

2 metres makes not much difference. If you do the quarter mile in 14 seconds or so, it means that you will cover those extra 2 metres in 0.07 of a second. not much difference really?

I agree with your comment as I sais it would be a very very small amount, but fact is, it is a different distance and will result in a different time.

Okay. Is the quarter mile exactly 1/4 mile? Is there standards on these things? I"m sure there would be, so just asking mainly.

cheers
