Gday Guys,
Got a series II XLS 5.0 which has a cat back, however has developed a pretty nasty exhaust leak on teh passenger side.... somewhere. Just wondering if there are any raelly common places for this to happen, is there anything i can get thats cheap and an easy for fix it in the short term (as in a few months it will be getting a whole new exhaust) pretty unhappy with the ol girl sounding like a truck |

Dunno what the 5L exhaust systems look like, but the 4L systems rust in a number of places - most likely at a join or a low point. Stick ya napper under the car and have a butchers.

Cheap and easy short term.
Muffler putty, sheet metal, self drilling screws, or a friend with oxy/acetylene or mig welder. |

does it have aftermarket headers? header bolts are a common one to come undone.

No it has the terrible standard headers....
Pretty sure I should just leave it there, it will certainly make me want to get that new exhaust on asap! But thanks guys.. Ive tried having a quick look... maybe undoing a few bolts and dropping it down will help find it. |
