Default Windsor Kenne Bell Kits $6000

With the Australian dollar so good at the moment to the USD we can offer the Kenne Bell Kit (TB1000-94-FB) that can be fitted to the Australian Windsor with some minor mods for under $6000.00 ( Some locations, postage may push the price over by $100 due to size, weight and insurance)

These Kits have previously been availible from another source in Australia who have been re selling them for over $10,000 which is just unbelievable.

Kenne Bell have mandated that the Australian public be granted direct access to these kits, as our US counterparts run the show the same way.

The savings are killer - and the kit is covered by the Kenne Bell warranty! This way you have more money left over for the "other" things a blown 5.0 needs, like bigger brakes, stickier tyres, and a box of kleenex for your mate with his 5.0 holden who is scratching his head wondering what just hit him.......

Please if you are after some more infomation on these kits please give me a call on 03 9305 3000 or email

Default Windsor Kenne Bell Kits $6000

What makes the Windsor KB kit so much cheaper than the mod motor kit?

1, Blower size

2, intercooler upgrade

3, local design and prefab and testing

4, low volume manufacturing unfortunatley means high costs. eg KB in the USA machine about 5000 manifolds for the windsor per year, we do about 40 for the Boss in one year.

Im sure if we were making kits in the same volume we could drop the price dramatically, im sure you get the drift.

Great work by you guys at Bluepower for bringing this kit onto the market.
Its been way to long, and when available WAY overpriced.

As a few people know this is the same blower i fitted to my ute, which i sourced straight from the guys at Bluepower aswell, with them being the only authorised Kenne Bell dealer for Australia.

Was talking to XH5LWEPN his kit is not intercooled, he has had some great results but inlet temps are very warm, are you saying that there is a cooler kit in development for the 5L windsor's?

No, there isn't a cooler kit in design for the 5.0l windsor, Theo was refering to the modular engine kit, on why it is more expensive than this 5.0l kit.
The only way to keep these windsor kits at accepatable air intake temp's, is to run low boost and or water meth injection.

Im very interested in this kit. Can you send me a PM with your reply and details of the kit?

Jeff.
Are you able to give some members a run down on your install?
In terms of, what needs to be altered/added for this kit to fit on the australian cars.

Also, noted your time in your signature....not too shabby at all mate!

Regards
AGRO.

Hrrm might let Dad know about this one, he has been thinking about a AU1-3 XR8 Lately and this would be a good way for him to fast forward to handing my @$$ to me

Great Value for sure guys, if only these sort of kits and SCT Tuning was avalible when the AU was new.

$10k is pretty crazy mark-up the TB1000-94-FB kit is only US$3500 retail some people must have money to burn

I am currently working on some more detailed infomation on what is needed to fit these kits.

As these are US kits the intake are on the drivers side so a battery relocation is needed
Fuel rail needs to be modified
Different belt
Extending some wiring loom
and a few others

This kit is not a stright bolt in but there has been a lot of shops that have been using this kit on the aust winsors.

More info soon

Will they fit under a Std bonnet Theo or will that depend on what model Falcon/Fairlane it would be getting fitted to?

They bolt to the engine, but the pulleys don't line up, so no, the kit doesn't fit.

If he ordered the TB1000-FB kit and used a lightning lower manifold it would line up as the 86-93 mustang have the longer waterpump also.
For the TB1000-94-FB and the TB1000-FB kits you need the GT40/explorer lower manifold.

Thats right, there will be a kit to suit.
Depending on front pulley spacing, wether its 86-93 spacing, or the 94-95 spacing.
Then use a 5.8 GT-40 lower from the 94-95 Lightning's and order a kit to suit the GT-40 lower.
Along with the other modifications required even for this kit on the 5.0, she should be on her way to sucking up some PD boost!!!

Na I don't mind mate.
You can make nearly anything fit these days, it just depends if you have the patience and experience to do so. I know it can be done, but I don't want to steer the common 'Joe' into thinking it's no problem. A custom install is never straight forward.

I think some measurements will need to be made to see whether these fit under the sedan bonnets in the e-series. The XH bonnet is a bit squarer and doesn't slope down as much as ours. It'll be close I reckon but you'd be shattered if you mounted it up and the bonnet didn't close...
