Hello all,
I have removed the troublesome MK2A Girling servo and installed a Lockheed. As soon as I start the car without touching the brake pedal the brakes lock on. When I take the cap off the white plastic breather ( under the letters "O" on the picture, it just pulls off and has a piece of plastic and a foam filter inside) and pull the little plunger up the brakes come off and I can roll the car. If I disconnect the vacuum to the servo the brakes do not lock on. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

make sure the non return valve in the Lockheed.system is working (called one way air valve )
could be that cap is to be left off after fitting the booster ..not sure on that myself or the problem is in that black round disc called the air valve used as an example only http://www.triumph-spitfire.nl/servoimages.htm
