Hi all.
I need to remove the front door trim on my daughter's MD as she smashed a passenger side mirror. I've located the 2 small bolts under the storage bin but where to from there? Are there any other bolts or is it an unclip and lift up job? I can't do it until next Saturday but need to be prepared and don't want to break anything. Thanks in advance. |

One under the door latch opening handle and two more under the base of the door.

Thanks Aussieblue. So a total of 3?
Then I presume you just unclip, disconnect the wires and remove by lifting up slightly? |

I'm just reading the factory workshop manual. You also have to detach the door latch connection before lifting the panel slightly then sliding it forward and slightly downward. I suggest you invest in a 72 hour subscription from Ford at https://www.motorcraftservice.com/ at $21.95 to get copy as the removal and installation instructions for the interior door trims are illustration and diagram based. It also looks from the illustrations, that while you will still have to remove the door trim to unplug their wiring. the mirrors can be removed without removing the trim by simply squeezing and pulling on their attaching arms in a very particular way.
