Today I saw the Booran Holden dealership with all the cars removed and all the signs removed. I've never owned a Holden but this sight made me feel sad.

Two and a half weeks ago (so not quite today) we had to put our 13yo mare down. She had a gammy knee that she damaged whilst racing. It had been operated on and wasn't too bad for paddock duties. Unfortunately she came cantering down the paddock and for some reason she stopped suddenly and stuffed the knee totally. She could not walk and it couldn't be fixed. A very sad day as she was a beautiful horse.
A week ago our old border collie decided she'd had enough. She had been going downhill for a while but she was eating well even though she slept a lot of the time or just lay out on the verandah watching what we were doing. In between those we lost a chook too. I hate 2020! It's been very interesting watching how the other horses and dogs have reacted. They are not happy either. |

Hi Guys,
I watched a Documentary called "Cocaine Cowboys" and it about how Miami in Florida became the cocaine capitol of the world in the 1970s and 1980s. There was so much money being made that Miami Banks almost ran out of space to store the cash deposits. There was gang wars and people getting shot dead in there cars because of the drugs. Well a bloke was shot dead and shot his son also who was only 3years old and that upset me lots. |

Typically theatrical, but he does seem to be speaking from the heart. Thanks for flagging it here.

Having to close threads like this because some people have their own agendas for everything.
