Default rear skirt price

got a couple of quotes done to get the damage to my car fixed...

i took it to mob just near home...top bloke, shop looks tops...will most probably be where i get it fixed...

he does the quote and rings up ford for the prices.

rear bar $187
moulds 350 or something
the rear body kit skirt for an au series 2... $1186.65 my jaw dropped lol

would this price be right.???

I reckon it would be, that would be for a genuine rear skirt. I wanted to get a new rear skirt on mine as its a bit damaged but i refuse to pay that for a genuine one and i ain't getting fiberglass i've heard its just not worth getting cauz once u hit it up against somethin it cracks too easy!

I agree stay clear of the fibreglass cracks too easy. unless your part is completly trashed a plastic welder might be able to fix it for you

yeh the parts are genuine and as im not paying for the skirt it dosent matter really...

still, just wanted to make sure the guy was over quoting the job, then when the assesor comes out to look he dosent approve it because of the expensive part
