It was in Performance Ford magazine a few years ago, and what does this have to do with e-series?

A BF? Unless they fitted a BF front to the BA, then it might be another one.
Here's the BA

Whilst I don't mind the BA/BF Hybrid coupe mentioned here, the AU was much more suited to look good as a two-door.

it was made by dreamtech in dandenong they make limos and stuff, they where going to make 50 for sale but didn't have enough interest, i think the 100k plus price tag put a few people off too.

I remember seeing that at the MMS back in 2003. They were offering to do it on XRs and GTs only. I think it was about 30-40K to get done.

It is a excellent machine. But i think that it still doesnt have the wow effect other coupes i seen made before had.
Still its a excellent bit of work.

AFAIK, Dreamtech still makes them. I check out the factory from time to time, always a few in the making. Last time I was there, they had a Toxic XR6T about to go home..

Off topic but what do you think a standard ba xr8 would look like as a convertible?
Does anyone know if this has ever been done? |
