2.5inch mandrel bent will be fine and at a reasonable price.

3inch works well to, will be better if your planning a few engine mods down the track.

i agree with stiddy. I put the 2 1/2 on the missus car for that exact reason the standard one fell to bits and a new one was the same cost as a custom one. If you got the extra cash get some extrators chucked on as well. there about 300-350 for pacemakers. Well worth it though

350? For Paccies? From where? More like around $500 to $600 fitted.

I assume it's a 4.0 I6? If so, then a 2.5" redback cats back system (mandrel bent) is around the $350 mark, and well worth it - if you want to keep the car quiet as well, go the system with the rear resonator, otherwise, the system with the single muffler is good for noise, though no significant power increase over the twin muffler/resonator job.

If you have a V8, either twin 2.5" or single 3" is worthwhile - even single 2.5", but it all depends on what mods you want to do in the future.

I agree will those above. If it's an I6, go the 2.5 Redback mandrel bent with the muffler and rear resonator. Sounds really nice, I have one on my SR sedan and will do the same to my Futura wagon when the old one's had it. It cost me $400 installed with nice chrome tip.

I got my Mercury 2.5 Inch from Performance Pipes in Brisbane for about $250.00, delivers a very nice note and power from it now.

I've got a Redback 2.5" cat-back mandrel bent job with the centre muffler and a Xforce cannon resonator under-neither at the back (you can't see it from behind) on my I6 ute. It was $400 installed, just got the quote for the Pacemarket extractors.

I think the sound clip thread should get started again so we can here all these exhausts.
