Series 8 - Episode 2
Monday 9 July at 7.30pm SBS TV

Richard races a Jet Kayak across the waters of Iceland against a Tom Cat on-land, and Jeremy, James and Richard do a very bad job of hosting the BBC Southern Counties ‘Drive’ program from Brighton. They also test drive the new Corvette, the Mercedes SL and the BMW 650.
Series 8 - Episode 3
Monday 16 July at 7.30pm SBS TV

The boys take on the challenge of creating an ‘amphi-car’ – an amphibious car that can travel both on land and water – competing against each other to create the most successful model. Jeremy puts an outboard motor on the back of a Toyota Hilux, James puts a mast and sails on a Triumph Herald, and Richard attempts to convert a VW Campervan into a houseboat – or ‘Dampervan’. The ensuing water race is hilarious – and disastrous for one of them!
Series 8 - Episode 4
Monday 23 July at 7.30pm SBS TV

Richard races the Porsche Turbo S across the rocky terrain of Cypress against a British Army Crack parachutist who jumps from 10,000 feet, and Jeremy test drives the new, futuristic Mercedes S Class with back-massaging seats and self-activating headlights. He then takes on the challenge of car interior design, fitting a Mercedes S Class with a stone flagged floor, mullioned windows and wood-burning stove. Even Ewan McGregor drops in as the ‘Star in A Reasonably Priced Car’.
Series 8 - Episode 5
Monday 30 July at 7.30pm SBS TV

Richard captains a team of Volkswagon Foxes in another game of four-a-side hatchback football against James and a team of Toyota Aygos, Jeremy races the new Citroen C6 against a horse race, and James (nicknamed ‘Captain Slow’ by his co-hosts) takes race-driving lessons with Scottish champion Formula 1 driver Sir Jackie Stewart. Famous British actor Sir Michael Gambon (Harry Potter, Gosford Park, Layer Cake) drops in as the ‘Star in a Reasonably Priced Car’.
Series 8 - Episode 6
Monday 6 August at 7.30pm SBS TV

The boys go on a caravanning holiday together during which Top Gear Dog throws up, they have a car accident, almost get arrested by the police and eventually burn down the campervan altogether while cooking chips on its gas stove. Meanwhile, Richard holds a one-car exhibition at the London venue for the British Motor Show with a Toyota F1 race car, and the Stig breaks the never-before-attempted indoor racing world record.
Series 8 - Episode 7
Monday 13 August at 7.30pm SBS TV

The boys go investigating for the best mini ‘People Mover’, Jeremy test drives the new Lamborghini, and James races the new Peugot 207 through the streets of Liverpool against French acrobats who somersault their way over buildings and across the city to the finish line. Meanwhile, the boys undertake the challenge of building a pit car from scratch in the time it takes the Stig to drive from Surrey to Scotland – with disastrous consequences!
Series 8 - Episode 8
Monday 20 August at 7.30pm SBS TV

The boys look into vans, volunteering to act as roadies for British rock band The Who, and then testing them for speed, tail-gating and ‘get-away-car’ ability. James and Richard take a look at the Rolls Royce 101EX - nicknamed by Jeremy the “Rolls Royce Vulgar-Sonic” - and sexy British Formula 1 race car driver Jensen Button is the ‘Star in a Reasonably Priced Car’.
